BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has effectively used 3D hologram technology to address meetings at multiple locations at the same time and now, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar is all set to become the first leader in the South to use the same tech.
The technology enables KCR not only to reach out to a large number of people but also gives his target audience the experience of watching him speak right in front of them even though he could be miles away. TRS sources told Express that after filing his nomination papers for the Gajwel Assembly seat on April 9, the last day for filing of nominations in Telangana, KCR is likely to address his first election rally at Huzurabad in Karimnagar district the next day. The party intends to beam his Huzurabad speech live in 3D at 40 other places.
TRS leaders are consulting companies which had made the technology available to Modi. One TRS leader said, “We want to get cracking with it. After KCR files his nomination papers, hopefully, the technology would be available for us.” KCR is going to launch a publicity blitz from April 9 onwards, he said. KCR has already hired a chopper and in the first phase of his campaign, will address meetings at Karimnagar (April 11), Nalgonda (April 12) and Chevella (April 13), besides Huzurabad.
Kavitha to Contest Nizamabad LS Seat
Kavitha, founder of Telangana Jagruthi, will make her electoral debut as TRS candidate for Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, her father, has given his nod for Kavitha to file her nomination on Wednesday. Kavitha will be locked in a triangular contest with sitting MP and Congress nominee Madhu Yashki Goud and BJP candidate Lakshminarayana. KCR will also file nomination for Medak LS seat on Wednesday.
